Manchester always seems to come second best to London, but after numerous trips and nearly 3 years spent studying there it has a place in my heart and it definitely has something for everyone whether you love shopping, art, food, clubbing or culture and I'd recommend it to anybody if you are looking for a low cost city break! Here are my favourite things to do in the 'second city'. Cow Vintage- Cow's aim is to bring vintage to the highstreet,’, and they certainly do that. If you have a love of vintage clothing but don't have time to scour through rails and rails of clothes to find what you want this shop is perfect for you! Here you will find reworked vintage clothes which are very wearable as well as vintage shoes, accessories and jewellery.
Afflecks - Afflecks palace is a haven for all things quirky- an alternative shopping centre with four floors jam packed with all different kinds of shops from vintage to tattooists, alternative fashion stores and cafes, and my personal favourite - me and yu - a fashion label located on the 3rd floor selling a range of handmade streetwear and accessories in cute designs. Sugar junction - Sugar Junction ''was born from a passion of baking a love for good wholesome food, enthusiasm for beautifully unique drinks & a love for everything vintage' and this little tea room combines all of these things perfectly, amazing food in an equally amazing setting.
