Here at Hey Sailor HQ we want to make sure you are 100% happy with your purchase.  We offer a 7 day returns policy so if, for any reason, you change your mind, you are entitled to a full refund.  

If you would like to return an item you may do so within 7 days of receiving your purchase.  All items returned must be in a new and unused condition.  Hey Sailor will refund the cost of the items and shipping charges but return shipping costs back to us are non refundable.

If you do wish to return any items to Hey Sailor, you MUST email us in advance (within 7 days of receiving your purchase) at returns@heysailor.co.uk BEFORE sending any items and await confirmation.  We will then provide our returns address.

Please include in your email:

  • Name
  • Order no
  • Item numbers
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you want an exchange or refund

Please note that Hey Sailor are unable to offer an exchange or refund on orders of pierced earrings due to hygiene reasons.  However these can be refunded or exchanged if they are faulty. 

All returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach Hey Sailor HQ and you will be responsible for the return cost of postage unless your items were delivered in error or they are faulty.  In which case Hey Sailor will refund your return postage.

We will refund the cost of returning faulty/damaged/goods received in error only if you provide a receipt for postage costs.  Items should only be returned using Royal Mail 2nd class post and ensure you keep the receipt as we may ask for proof of postage.

Returns will not be accepted for used or soiled items so please ensure all items are returned to Hey Sailor in a new and unused condition with original packaging.  Hey Sailor Designer items must NOT be removed from sealed bags or clear packaging.  AIl items will be inspected by Hey Sailor upon arrival and if they do not meet any of the requirements will be returned to you at your cost.

Hey Sailor will issue your refund within 10 working days of receiving and inspecting your items.  You will receive your refund via the original payment method.
